A Camper's Day at Mountaindale

Your adventure begins bright and early when you arrive at the bus stop, ready to kick off a day of fun.

You hop on the bus with your fellow campers and meet your bus PAs.

During your ride to camp, PAs lead the entire bus in camp songs, getting you excited for your day at Mountaindale North.

You depart your bus and find your camp unit at flag.

Campers watch the PAs put on a skit, and also sing more camp songs.

At the end, a group of campers will lead a Girl Scout flag ceremony and then you'll listen to morning announcements from the Camp Director.

Your camp day begins while your PAs lead the way, filling your day with engaging camp activities including: hiking, songs & games, nature, arts & crafts, making ice cream, archery, teambuilding on the low ropes course, Girl Scout badge work, and of course GIMP (making woven lanyards out of plastic lacing). 

Afternoon flag begins with more songs and skits, plus closing awards from our specialty units (songs & games, nature, supplies, kitchen, and arts & crafts).

Whichever units wind up with Mugwumps (our camp's stuffed mascots) will sing "Squirrely" for everyone!

Another group of campers will lead the Girl Scout flag retirement ceremony and everyone sings TAPS.

After flag is done, you will get on your bus with your friends and bus PAs and ride back to Cedar Mill.

You will arrive back to your bus stop around 4:00 pm.

Your parents or carpool will be there to meet you and hear all about your amazing day at camp!
