Fun, friendship, and hands-on learning activities await our Daisy campers. Throughout the camp week, Daisy campers build on social skills, make friends, and discover the world around them.

A Daisy's camp week will be full of sisterhood, giggles, learning, and fun!

This year, all campers in the Daisy unit will earn the Daisy Eco Learner Badge.

​

Badge Description:

At camp, Brownies will fall in love with the great outdoors, explore new interests, gain important social skills, and, of course, make new friends! Brownie campers go on outdoor adventures, play fun games, and explore their interests. A Brownie's camp week will be full of new adventures, camaraderie, friendship, and fun!

​

This year, campers in the Brownie units will earn either the Brownie Outdoor Adventurer Badge or the Brownie Bugs Badge.

Badge Description:

At camp, Juniors make new friends and work as a team while learning outdoor skills such as knot tying, fire safety, and outdoor cooking. 

 

This year, all campers in our Juniors units will earn the Junior Outdoor Skills badge, a Mountaindale North Exclusive, designed to align with the Girl Scouts' Outdoor Skills progression.​

Campers in the Juniors unit are eligible to stay for the Thursday Overnight.

Badge Description:

The Outdoor Explorers unit and badge is unique to Mountaindale North and offers Cadette-level training in outdoor skills.​​

​

Cadette campers are ready to work in groups, get creative, think big, consider different perspectives, and of course, make awesome memories with friends!

 

Outdoor Explorers will explore activities focused on discovery, confidence, and practical outdoor skills.

​

Campers in the Outdoor Explorers unit are eligible to stay for the Thursday Overnight.

Badge Description:

MNDC's PAIT program offers campers in 7th -10th grade the Girl Scout training required to become a Program Aide at any Girl Scout day camp the following summer.

​

• PAITs is a leadership training unit where campers learn the skills needed to become a Program Aide (PA), a role they can hold through high school.

• PAITs learn how to lead outdoor activities with younger girls through hands-on activities.

• PAITs also earn the Girl Scout Cadette LIA Award for mentoring younger scouts.

• Please note that completing Outdoor Explorers is not required to join the PAITs unit.

Campers in the PAITs unit are eligible to stay for the Thursday Overnight.

 

Badge Description:

*The Mountaindale North Program Aide (PA) leadership program is for girls entering 8th—12th grades who have successfully completed PAIT training either at Mountaindale North, another Girl Scout camp, or through a Girl Scout training.

​

• PAs are akin to being a "camp counselor" at Mountaindale North.

• In the months leading up to camp, PAs plan camp activities with the guidance of adult leaders.

• At camp, PAs lead campers in camp activities throughout the week.
